Spent at least a minute arguing with a child about whether “less” or “fewer” was the proper adjective. Then she asked me: “what do people with stupid children argue about?”.

It was only when they were much older did the children learn that including Brian (back right) and Santa (front left) in a nativity scene is not canon. But now it’s tradition, and I caused a small riot when I omitted them this year. They have now been placed, and all is well.

Lunch at Cuba Libré in DC. I’m ready to make a trip back to Cuba I think. During my first visit we just got a taste of the country. I would like to explore the rest. Need to learn Spanish first though.

With the passing of Stan Lee, I feel like I must be the only person in the US who never really got into comic books.

Dinner tonight with some dear friends. About to find out if my cellar has kept a good temperature for the last 20 Years or so.
