My daughter is playing violin in the orchestra for a Kennedy Center event. As a father, I am unsure what to do. I am so proud that my heart may explode at any moment. On the other hand she says it doesn’t count because no one is paying her. Being a parent in the modern age of YouTube fame or Instagram glory is so disorienting. For what it’s worth, I just want my children to find happiness.
